About the Author

Heather Pierczynski has a BA in English from North Carolina State University and works as a school social worker. She is actively involved in the children’s book world through SCBWI and her critique group. She currently lives in North Carolina with her family. This is her debut book.Skylar Hogan is the illustrator of Poe and Lars, I’m Not Missing, and Balloons and Cake. He has over ten years of professional illustration and animation experience. He lives in Omaha, NE, with his wife and two sons.
