Chitra Soundar is an Indian-born British author of over 40 books, including the award-winning picture books You’re Safe with Me and You’re Snug with Me, illustrated by Poonam Mistry. Chitra has published in Asia, North America and Europe. Her stories are inspired by her close-knit family, growing up in India filled with epics, play-acting and her travels around the world.
