MARGARET WISE BROWN (1910–1952) muy conocida por ser la autora de Buenas noches, luna, escribió innumerables libros inspirada en su firme creencia de que los niños pequeños se fascinan por las cosas más simples del mundo que los rodea. Entre los libros de más venta y éxito, publicados por Golden Books, podemos encontrar: Mister Dog, The Color Kittens, The Golden Egg Book, Seven Little Postmen y The Sailor Dog. La traductora, TERESA MLAWER, es una pionera en el mundo editorial de habla hispana de Estados Unidos y una reconocida especialista de literatura infantil y juvenil.
