Dickinson was born in Amherst, Massachusetts, into a prominent family with strong ties to its community. Tim Hopgood is an award-winning author and illustrator whose books include What a Wonderful World, a picture book version of the song made famous by Louis Armstrong. Tim Hopgood lives in Yorkshire, England.
