The Naughty List meets Elf in Max Fernsby and the Infinite Toys, a charming, hilarious middle grade Christmas tale about three friends who join forces with two wayward elves to try to return Santa’s red bag in time to save the holidays, from debut novelists and acclaimed screenwriting duo Peter Gaulke and Gerry Swallow.

Max Fernsby is a typical 10-year-old kid who spends his time avoiding his foster parents and palling around with his two best friends, Baxter and Leoni. But when a red bag literally falls from the sky onto his head, Max discovers that he has the power to produce any toy he wishes for! With his magic red bag in hand and newfound toy-summoning abilities, Max soon realizes that the bag can do more than just supply him and his friends with all the new toys they ever wanted. The bag might just be able to provide them with a whole new life!  But what Max doesn’t realize is that the red bag only wound up in his hands because two troublemaking elves lost the bag while taking Santa’s sleigh for a joy ride. Now the elves have to get back the lost bag before Santa notices it's gone and a greedy businessman steals the bag for himself. It’s a race against time to save Christmas in this hilarious caper from the acclaimed screenwriting duo of Peter Gaulke and Gerry Swallow.

About the Author

Gerry Swallow began his career in Seattle as a stand-up comic before moving to Los Angeles. This led to numerous television appearances, including several slots on NBC’s The Tonight Show. He eventually turned his attention to screenwriting and has written everything from popular comedies to children’s animation, including the blockbuster hit Ice Age: The Meltdown.Peter Gaulke began his writing career as stand-up comic in LA. He made the transition into television comedy, writing for Married With Children and Saturday Night Live. Then he went on to write some movies: Black Knight, Say It Isn’t So for the Farrelly Brothers, and, with Gerry Swallow, the animated smash hit Ice Age: The Meltdown.
