About the Author

Sarah Kurpiel is a librarian and self-taught illustrator from the Midwest who is inspired by nature, animals, and antique books. She is the author of Lone Wolf, which received a starred review from School Library Journal; Original Cat, Copy Cat; and Elephant’s Big Solo. Sarah Kurpiel uses a power wheelchair and considers her disability an important part of her identity.
