About the Author

Annette Dauphin Simon, an award-winning creative director and former bookseller, is the author and illustrator of several books for children, among them Mocking Birdies and Robot Zombie Frankenstein. To research this book, she spent countless hours lost in the stacks, and has rearranged more titles than she is prepared to admit. She lives with her family in Southport, North Carolina.
