About the Author

MARIA MARIANAYAGAM is a Sri Lankan-Canadian, chemical engineer turned picture book writer. She lives in Calgary, Alberta, with her husband and two daughters. This is her first book. SKYLAR WHITE received her degree in illustration from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. She loves projects that infuse the everyday with a touch of magic. She lives in New York City with her husband and their cat, Alfie.
