About the Author

Mikey Please is a BAFTA Award–winning and Oscar-nominated animation director and writer based in London. He is an alumnus of Wimbledon School of Art and the Royal College of Art and a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The Café at the Edge of the Woods is his picture book debut.
