About the Author
Kelly DiPucchio is the author of several picture books, including Sipping Spiders Through a Straw: Campfire Songs for Monsters, Grace for President, Gaston, Oona, Liberty's Journey, and Dinosnores. Reviewers have praised her work as "hilarious," admiring her writing's "rollicking rhythm."She attended Michigan State University, where a creative writing professor strongly encouraged her to submit work for publication. However, it wasn't until after her children were born that she became interested in writing picture books. "They taught me everything I needed to know about becoming a picture book author," Kelly states. "They taught me important things like underpants are funny, arm pits make fine musical instruments, and 'poop' rhymes with 'soup.''' Kelly DiPucchio lives in a suburb outside of Detroit, Michigan, with her husband and three children.
Nate Wragg is an animator and art director. He has illustrated several picture books, including Monster Trucks, Goldi Rocks and the Three Bears, and Go Go Gorillas: A Romping Bedtime Tale. He lives in Los Angeles, California.
