Danielle Higley is a children's book author, editor, and fan girl. Her own backstory is far less interesting than that of Curious George, but she did manage to write this book while parenting during a global pandemic! She lives in Boise, Idaho, with her husband, infant son, and two doodle dogs. She graduated from Fresno State University with a degree in child development. Stephanie is also a warrior. In 2011, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). In her free time, she loves to cycle, garden, decorate, and count her son's freckles. She and her family live in California.
