About the Author

Lindsay Ward was born and raised in California. She is the author and illustrator of several books, including most recently Let's Go!, Let's Build!, Vacation for Dexter, Brobarians, The Importance of Being 3, and Rosco vs. the Baby. She is also the author of Henry Finds His Word, When Blue Met Egg, and Please Bring Balloons, which was made into a play by the New York City Children’s Theater in 2017. She lives in Ohio with her husband, two children, and dog. She also owns a stationery company, Foreword Press + Design.
