About the Author
Catherine Stier is the author of several children's books, including the award-winning If I Were President and the Kirkus star reviewed A Dog's Day chapter book series. Other honors for Stier's books include the IRA Los Angeles' 100 Best Books and the Bank Street College of Education Best Children's Books. She holds a Masters in Reading and Literacy and has served as a magazine writer, newspaper columnist, and writing instructor and has conducted children's literature research. Born in Michigan, Stier now resides in Texas.Angel Chang illustrates children's books and also works in editorial. She specializes in conceptual drawings and stylized illustrations. Angel has had exhibitions in the U.S. and Taiwan and divides her time between the two countries.
